Wich of these CPUs is better?

I was wondering wich CPU would be better to build a gaming pc. I intend to play game lik battlefield 3, 4 and crysis 3. For what I know both CPUs can handle these games on high settings. Now i want to know wich of the two is the best one to pick.

1: Intel Core i5 4670K 3.40 Ghz

2: AMD Vishera FX-6300, Six Core

Can you also please tell me why number 1 or number 2 is better?

The i5 is better. It can give you higher fps in games. It does cost about $100 more too though. If the price doesn't matter and you want a cpu for gaming then definitely the i5-4670k. It's a beast. The fx-6300 is better for budget builds.

Another middle of the road choice...fx-8320. It overclocks almost to 8350 levels. And it's cheaper than the i5.

I assume that the fx-8320 is better than the fx-6300, but less than the i5?

Yes. It's all about price. If the 4670k is too expensive then I'd get the fx-8320 or a non overclockable i5.
