Hello. My name is Zach, and i'm 13 years old and in 8th grade. (Please Note: before you read the rest, i prefer pcpartpicker for list's of parts or Amazon...no mail in rebates, no promo codes, none of that...except for shipping) I need some advice very bad. I dont know what i want to do.
At the moment, I have a case, (Thermaltake AMD edition)
and now i feel like its crappy and wasn't worth the money i spent (only $40)...i was thinking about just putting it up in the attic because i don't know what i want to do with it...and im also tore between building or buying, and if i was to buy, then should i get Alienware or if i was to build..im just lost with what im gonna do now....i was thinking of getting an alienware laptop but those are just way too expensive....i don't know how long i'm willing to save up my money for....i don't know if i want AMD or Intel or Nvidia/Radeon....i'm all the way back to square one....the monitor, keyboard, and mouse i got from my grandmother are complete crap....i just....i just don't know what i want to do anymore you know? the computer doesn't have to be the BEST but i would want it to last for a few years, and play games like Assassins Creed, Skyrim, BF3, Grand Theft Auto IV, games like that, at a constant 30-40 FPS and no dipping below 30 (with Mods installed) at normal settings (meaning i wouldn't change anything about the settings, just get the game and play) for the least amount of money possible...Also, this computer wouldn't just be for gaming, i would also be doing YT videos, surfing the web, maybe some stuff for school and some game design (Programming, 3D Models, stuff like that) i'm getting money at a slow rate, and would get money here and there for little things...but i would want to keep the "saving up time" under 3 years, 2 yrs at max and if i really would have to, then 3 yrs. Please, if you could help me in the right direction, that would make me happy.

Thanks,

-
Zach

Time vs money.
Start saving up money. When you think you have enough (2 years?), on that day buy the best collection of available parts that will fit into that amount of money.

You can't predict what will be available and for how much with a 2-3 year timeline.
