Hello all,
I am currently building a desktop gaming computer, and I was wondering which graphics card I should choose. I have $170 budget, and there were the two cards I was looking at:
1. PowerColor PCS+ AX7870 2GBD5-2DHPPV3E Radeon HD 7870 MYST. Edition (Tahiti LE) 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card (UEFI Ready)

2. GIGABYTE GV-N65TOC-2GI GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

So, which one will be superior for gaming? Are there any other $170 cards that beat these?
P.S. here is a link to see all of my other parts:

Well first of the HD7870 would perform better than the gtx650ti.
The build you are doing i assume is for gaming if so you can get a way better build for the money because the cpu is high end with the mobo. You can get a cheaper cpu and mobo and then a better gpu like the hd 7950 or gtx760 for better performance.
You could get these 2
intel Core i5-3470 Processor: http://amzn.to/1avZ9xG

MSI B75MA-P45 Motherboard: http://amzn.to/12a7hei
Then and this
http://www.amazon.com/MSI-OC-DisplayPort-PCI-Express-R7950-3GD5/dp/B00CRNRSLW/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1382796334&sr=8-6&keywords=hd7950

That would perform better than the last build. It is $184 which is REALLY cheap for the card and with a $20 rebate. Hope i helped!
Good luck!
If you need anymore help just ask me ;)

I think I will stick with the Radeon HD 7870 MYST because it is $70 dollars cheaper, and there does not seem to be too big of a gap between them in performance. Is there?
