wifi router repeaters

While you can use a wireless repeater, it is not the best method.

Much better to add a wireless access point (AP) connected with an Ethernet cable LAN port to LAN port with your router. Place it at the opposite end of the house, use the same SSID, security type and passkey, different wireless radio channel, and give it a static address in your router. Then everything that connects to the AP wireless or wired will be controlled by the main router.

If you absolutely cannot run a cable that far, you can use a good pair of powerline adapters to get the signal to the necessary location. I highly recommend the new Zyxel PLA5205kit as it gets about 120Mbps for me compared to the older PLA4205 getting 30Mbps on the same sockets.
