Hey, I just built a new recent build and i'm having issues. Whenever I power it up, there is no video signal. On top of that, the chassis fans that are connected to the mobo are not spinning either, but the CPU fan and HDD are spinning.. Any suggestion? The 8 pin in the corner is plugged in for sure. I've tried using 1 ram stick in each slot.

Solution
on the eight pin cable make sure it not the video six plus two cable. it should be two four pin cables or one big eight pin cable. check that the io shield not shorting out the mb and that the mb sitting on top of the 8-9 case standoffs needed to keep the mb from shorting out. try unplugging all of the case fans from the mb see if that or the usb cable is shorting out the mb. on the new intel mb they set the ipgpu as the first video output so your gpu may be dead. try the onboard video if nothing turns on. pull the gpu and use one stick of ram to see if it a bios issue. if still no post se if the mb posts outside the case. if no post take power off the mb check that the cmos jumper in the right spot and then reseat the cpu and look for...

On the PSU cable itself it's labelled as CPU, as compared to the PCI power cables.

I've tried both GPU and onboard and nothing has happened. :( I have all 6 of the standoff screws screwed in as well. I found that the mobo only used 6 which was weird for me.

UPDATE:
I've tried restarting the CMOS through the CMOS switch, and i've had no luck. Tried one ram stick in a DIMM0 slot and no difference either.

UPDATE2: I just popped everything out, and rebuilt it. Everything seems to have magically worked.
