Hello.

For some months now i've been having a really annoying issue with my Razer Imperator (not the 2012 one.I bought mine in 2010-11).
As soon as i lifted my mouse off the surface which i'm playing on (a razer destructor mousepad) the mouse went off and i was hearing the unplug sound from Windows. This problem would also occur if i was moving the mouse around very quickly.
I assumed that it was a cable issue so i bought a new cable (USB) and i replaced the old one today but the problem still persists.
I've formatted my PC and i've downloaded all of the mouse's drivers and firmware updates.

Any idea about what's wrong with my mouse would be appreciated!

The settings i'm using are 125hz on Polling Rate and 1800 DPI.

Try changing the settings. Then try using the mouse as a plug and play device. Uninstall all the drivers and software and see if the problem persists, to narrow it down to a hardware or software issue. Razer is known to have buggy drivers.

Well, i've done all that and nothing worked so far except for plug n play.Haven't tried that yet.
Could you tell me how to do that?

Yeap, other mice are fine.I guess it's hardare issue then, maybe the board from the inside is damaged.

Anyway, thanks for your time! :)
