Last night, I turned on my computer, expecting to play some battlefield 3 and watch some YouTube videos. I watched one YouTube video, and noticed that the framerate of the video was slower than usual. So, I ran bf3, and joined a server. I was getting 4 fps, when I usually get 70-90 on ultra. I searched around and I have found nothing that has worked for me. I don't know if it is my hard drive, or something else. Two days ago, my computer was running insanely fast, but now it is unbearably slow. I have run malware bytes, ccleaner, and turned my computer off, and dusted out my computer, reinserted the ram, and nothing has changed.
System Specs:
Intel i7-3770k 3.5 ghz
HDD: 2TB 6GB/s 7200RPM 64mb cache Toshiba DT01ACA200
Asetek 120mm watercooler and 4 other fans.
Asus P8Z77-V LX Z77 motherboard
Nvidia Geforce GTX 660Ti 2gb dedicated memory
Xtreamgear 800 Watt psu
Windows 8 64-bit
16 GB DDR3 RAM 1600MHZ

I have had my computer since the middle of June and it has never done this before. Please help!

Solution
try reinstalling intel chipset drivers and boot into safe mode and do a clean uninstall of the nvidia drivers and put in the newest drives back in after you reboot. if the frame rate still low...use msi afterburner turn the fan up to 100 percent see if you can hear the fan speed change. if the gpu fan has gone bad or the temp sensor the gpu going to throttle back. use hardware monitor check your system temps. use gpu-z see if your mb reading your gpu right.
