Whenever my PC is booting, there are 3 codes that appear in the bottom right hand of the screen before the BIOs screen comes up, the codes are 99, 9C, and then a pause, and then A2.

Does anyone have any idea what these are and how to rid of them? Like I said my machine works perfectly, boots fine, everything works properly, and I've had zero crashes or anything of the sort. They're just really starting to annoy me because I don't know what they are.

Solution
it's totally normal, these code are just information about the boot processus, they're not error codes...

To get rid of some and boot faster, enable MSI fast boot in the windows 8 menu (even if you use windows 7) it'll only show A2 that is: start OS and will not show the other ones and will not show the raid info if you use raid... It'll speed up your boot sequence by a lot too...

Thanks alot, it boots pretty fast already, I just had no idea what they were and was worried that maybe something wasn't secured onto my board properly or whatever. But yeah, now I have ease of mind, thank you!

umm yeah they are error codes, 9C is a USB error (my pc gets it) A2 is a Drive Error (my pc gets this as well) not sure about 99

A2 usually allows my pc to boot 90% of the time but gets stuck some times

9C Straight up refuses to boot if I have any USB Flash drive in the front case headers but can be fixed by simply removing the drive

I also have these on my Z87-G43, but when i get the 99 (happens 50% of the times I boot) my pc wont boot at all and i have to hold down the power button because i dont have a reset button. I also used to get the 9C code which just did the same to me... I really get paranoid because i dont want to damage my hardware from powering it off like that. Especially because im getting 1080 in not so long. so any help would be nice :)
