Hi,
I was looking to build my first gaming pc and after a ton of research came up with two builds very similar in price. I was wondering which of the builds is more "future proof" (even though that is almost impossible to know) and which will get me the best fps in BF4, Arma III, Wargame and maybe some Dayz. I was also wondering if i chose the right 280x.
Le Builds:
AMD build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1Tv89

Intel:http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1TvX2

More about : choosing builds

I would recomend the intel build because its more future proof and i prefer intel. Is there a reason you are going last gen ivy-bridge and not haswel? If you go 4th gen then it is even better and future proof as lga1155 is now a dead socket so get the i5 4430 or something and an H87 mobo and you will be good to go. If you need to get ivy bridge then its not future proof unlike the haswel option so i would reccomend it since it is also about 10% faster than ivy-bridge

Hope i helped!

I agree, though i would go with a i5 4670K and a Z87 mobo, like the Asus Z87-Pro
