Hey guys ,
I decided to buy a new PC and a have been looking for parts. This is the configuration i choosed:
Motherboard: Asus Z87 Pro
RAM:G.Skill Trident X DDR3 2400 PC3-19200 16GB 2X8GB CL10
Processor: Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5Ghz Box
Graphic card: Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 OC Boost Vapor-X 3GB GDDR5
PSU: Tacens Radix VI 850W
I am still a newbie so I need your opinions. Is the RAM the best or there is faster for about same price? Is it worth to take GigaByte GeForce GTX 770 ?Is there anything I can change to make better confuguration? My budget is about 1000 euro or 1350-1400 dollars.I already have a case, optical drive and HDD.I live In Bulgaria, but i can order parts from Spain. My current configuration choise is from this site. I will be using the computer mostly for games.

P.S.Sorry for my bad english..

DRAM is good, the next step up in the Tridents is 2666 and still a decent jump pricewise, you should be good w/ 2400 (run them in my IB and have 2666 in my Haswell build.

the 770 is a great CPU, if available to you , might look for one of the newer 280X AMD video cards, near same performance wise, but the 280X is generally about 25% less cost wise (at least here in the States).

Hi, thank you for your answer about the RAM i think 2400mhz is more than enough for me but which one should i choose(kingston, geil,g.skill) i know that the timings are verry important , but i don't understand them. Abount the GPU i am not sure if i want another ATI.I have a radeon 4870 in my current configuration , but it looks like its overheating because it doesn't work like when i bought it(temperature was always 80+ degrees ,so now when i start having problems i have to use manual fan control to keep 50+ temps and my pc is like a jet plane :D). Also what do you think about the mobo and the CPU is there something better for this money?
Thanks.
P.S.By the way aren't the R9 series just a 7xxx series with customised clocks and new name?

On the DRAM, I pretty much go GSkill about ()% of the time, been using them for years, still try the other brands, but they don't really match up, GSkill is the leader and the others tend to follow in their footsteps, (Have 32GB GSkill sets in all my main 3 rigs - 2133/9 in my SB, 2400/10 in my IB and 2666/11 in my Haswell)

The new AMD cards are all a step up or so from their previous offering - the 280X is a little better than a 7970GHz edition and the 290X is step up from there
