Hello, I recently got a broken TeraStation Live that i am trying to fix and it has the problem of "Lost Boot Image E06" and im trying to update the firmware because i belive that it has a outdated version and to do that i need it connected to my network... I have it connected to my router/hub and when running the firmware update software it goes to searching for the Terastation Live than tells me that it couldnt find it then closes out... im not sure what to do and iv looked all over the web for a solution so now im turning to the community for help

:)

Solution
Try a reset
Connect the TeraStation directly to your computer, with either a regular Ethernet or crossover cable, directly from the TeraStation’s RJ-45 Ethernet port to the RJ-45 port on your computer’s network interface card.
Change the IP address of your computer to 192.168.11.100 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0.
Reset the TeraStation by holding down the Init button for 30 seconds. Power down the TeraStation, then turn it back on.
Ping 192.168.11.150 to make sure that your PC is able to communicate with the TeraStation.
If you can ping it then try the firmware update.

Thankyou... By ping do you mean TFTP Boot? because iv already tried that with my IP set at 192.168.11.1 (The NAS Server IP) and it gives me "Client 192.168.11.1:62 C:\tft\uImage.buffalo, 5322 Blocks Served
Client 192.168.11.1:62 C:\tft\initrd.buffalo, Timeout"
but when i try it with the IP address you specified it doesnt do anything and just sits there when i reset and power it back up...
