I've seen some benchmarks from both the 290 and the 780 and stock the 290 beats the 780.
But I've seen the OC benchmarks too and there the 780 beats the 290 in all resolutions except for 4k and I won't be using a 4k monitor so that doesn't matter to me. To go deeper into this amd has mantel and nvidia gsync.
In the Netherlands where I'm from the 290 is more expensive than the 780 (€40).
So which card should I get, I'll be over clocking.
