Battlefield 4 Disc?

I pre-ordered it too today and I personally asked an origin employee if I would need to use the disc, as I currently do not have a disc drive installed. He said yes, I cannot simply redeem the code on origin and download it. I assume that you will not need to download the full game (since the game files are obviously provided on the disc).

hey thanks man i was just wondering because i seem to recall for bf3, i put the disc in and basically had to download the game fully just as if i pre ordered digitally from origin.. but hopefully files will be installed directly from the disc rather than downloaded that would be nice lol thanks for your reply man
