Unable to Move in Skyrim

I installed a ton of mods (84 to be exact) from a couple different Best Skyrim Mods lists, that seem to play nice, but I encountered a glitch. Firstly, the guard didn't let me out of the wagon in very beginning, and so I got a savegame that was irght before character creation. Then, after I made my character, I wasn't able to move to the beheading block to start the arrival of Alduin. Does anyone know a fix? I tried enableplayercontrols and coc and cow, but none work. Please help!

Solution
NEVER ever uninstall and reinstall a game due to mods, it's usually very easy to fix and to reinstall would take like an hour not to mention all the time it would take to download patches.

Glad you fixed it :)

I didn't install any mods that affected the camera, but I got around the not being able to move glitch. I just downloaded a save file from right after Helgen and used showracemenu to change the character.

Honestly, Nigh? I consider myself a pretty Mod hungry person in games by Bethesda, as they just make the game better.

But 84 of them!? I bet since you took them from 'several best mods' lists, those lists didn't take Mod Conflict into account?

Many mods for Skyrim are pretty much doing the same thing but in different ways and with different explanations...When that happens it's like trying to have 2 trains on the same track driving in opposite directions towards the same destinations...A collision happens no matter you like it or not.

Since you installed 84 of them...Many, if not all of them, all at the same time, without logging in in between to check if they worked properly? My only advice to you is to do a complete uninstall of Skyrim, and carefully check each mod to make sure they don't Conflict with any other mods. As it is now? You've pretty much nuked your Skyrim game, I have no idea which mods you've installed, nor if they conflict or not, and with 84 of them? It could be any 2...Or perhaps there're more than 2...Perhaps several dusin pairings that all conflict with one another? There's no way to know for sure.

So yeah, to make the game playable? An uninstall/reinstall is really the only reasonable option I can come up with at this point.

For future reference? It's better to take hours installing mods, than do it all at once and end up with an unplayable game...Take your time, research the mods, and make sure they're clear of conflicts with other mods you're considering to install.

Simple fix:

Nr.1 The moving to the block is automated so once you entered your character's name and hit enter it will move by itself there is nothing you can do.

SINCE that is not happening however something is very wrong (as you already know).

As I said this is a simple fix, disable and enable mods individually (obviously if some of them are graphics, environmental or companion mods (as long as they are not companion replace mods) can be looked over) But overhauls, ect mods (even body change mods) can conflict.

It's strange that your game even enters at all in my experience when mods usually conflict the game doesn't work at all. I enter the game the Bethesda advertising screens plops and then it will crash instead of be in the Skyrim main menu. So then I know hmmm something ain't right :)

My experience with games like these (oblivion was the same) don't enable all of them at once. Less is more so start with 1 graphics mod, 1 overhaul mod, a few armour mods (don't combine Gondor with Roman for example)

I just started playing Skyrim again myself (was downloading mods the entire weekend then Nexus MM had a problem I uninstalled it told my it would keep my mods, it did keep some but I lost more than half and they aren't in the mod manager so word of advice) Download the mods manually don't use mod managers (Just because you would cry if you had to redownload 84 of them because the files are now corrupted).

I fixed it though, if you read the post by me above yours. I had already beat the beginning so I just got a save file after Helgen and it was fine. And I did check between mods, fyi, every 5 mods I would run a stability test in skyrim to make sure I didn't break anything. Please be less condescending next time and read the posts above yours. Also, 84 mods isn't that big a deal. I'm running the game stable with 138.
