Hello, this is my first homebuilt PC and I would like to state that it is NOT designed for gaming, it is designed for university. This machine will mainly be used for word, PowerPoint and Youtube.
So here are the parts I have decided on. Please tell me if they are compatible and will work well for my goal. I also would like to state that I cannot change the GPU I am putting into it. Thanks guys! :D

Not the best , not the worst... will cope easily with Uni workload

I'd personally change the paste to Artic cooling MX-4 just because i favour that one

Also an SSD for the OS will really speed up you system

Sure, would you recommend getting an SSD to store the OS and have the SATA drive store all the files?
Sure I can change the thermal paste.
I just want to double check with someone, can the PSU take all this?

EDIT: Just searched it. nevermind.

Yes the ssd will just boot the whole system up quick and use the regular hard drive for work files etc

The psu will be fine you will not exceed 600W , from my experience Coolermaster arent my favourite psu company , you'll be better off with corsair/sesonic/nzxt

I would recommend dumping the GPU altogether because you will have integrated graphics on you CPU which will do fine for what you are doing. I would recommend putting a bit more ram in your machine. you can get by with 4 GB but you will lbw better off with 8 GB. I would also highly recommend putting an SSD in there as well. if you don’t use that much disk space get something like a 256 GB SSD and drop your spinner all together. If you do however need to have more space buy a small SSD thats like 60-80GB and put your original terabyte drive in as well.

I thought OP was stating only 4gb of ram , but as i went through the post again checking the parts I think he is getting 8gb (2x4)
