I am looking for a 5.25" fan controller for an upcoming build. I have no ideas which ones are good and which ones are terrible. Suggestions are needed. I will have 4 fans and would like to have a blue/black theme to match the case.I would like to keep the pricearound 25/30 dollars.
Here is the case I will use

I recently ordered the NZXT Sentry Mix 2, if you're not in any hurry, I can tell you how it is when I install it later this week.

I am certainly not in a hurry and would like to hear your feedback on the controller, thanks

I will be using Corsair Air-Series AF120 high performance fans if it makes a difference. Can they be voltage controlled? Are those fans good or are there better ones for around the same price.

Any fan that has at least three pins can be controlled via voltage. The Corsair Air series is a fairly solid brand, and I have no issue recommending them for a case fine. Sadly, I haven't read a lot about the AF variant, or own one, to really have much input, but I can tell you that the main complaint about the SP variant is the noise. It's not screaming-like-a-banshee-loud, and actually the type of noise it makes is fairly pleasant, but it is noticeable and I can see it getting on a lot of people's nerves.
I can also tell you that one reason why you don't hear/read a lot of reviews about the AF variant is that people look at the CFM and Static Pressure numbers, and wonder why anyone would buy the AF variant since the the SP looks better on paper. Their reasoning might be justified at full tilt, but once you dial down the RPM...

Anyway! Cougar fans are also pretty good. Their PWM variants often have crappy circuits which will emit a higher pitched noise that overrides the fan, but, with voltage control, you can bypass that.

I am picking the AF variant of the fans because they are more efficient with moving air as intake/exhaust fans than the SP variant. The SP variant is better with smaller places such as hard drive cages and CPU coolers. I believe AF stand for Air Flow and SP stands for Static Pressure.

Finally got around to installing it. Had to put in a new PSU as well.

It's working fine in every aspect, all the LED lights and fan plug-in adapters are working. All the wires are more than long enough to accommodate just about any size build, I think. (There might actually be a bit much.) I like that it can use either 4-pin or 3-pin fans.

The only flaw I have discovered with it is that my Enermax Magma fan made a slight buzzing sound when at 50% or higher speed. I thought that this was weird, because my Enermax Cluster is just fine. It hasn't made that buzzing noise before.
