Hello there ,
I bought a new USB wifi-adapter today , the Belkin N750 , since my previous one was damaged. So , since i am a gamer i chose this one because this one is desinged for gaming and streaming. It showed that i had 54,0 Mpbs , which was good because my other one had around 24,0-36 and had usually 30-70 ping on that , depending on which server i was playing. Now , today when I was playing LoL everything went crazy , i constantly dropped on skype , had sometimes between 10,000-18,000 ms , which is insane , after a while , i dropped back to 33 ms , to then fly go back to 15,000. It went like this all day long. I even had problems watching youtube videos and streams. Then i did a speedtest , when i did that ,my network status showed me i had 54,0 mpbs , and my speedtest showed me i had 1,33 mpbs dl speed. I pinged to my router , and it showed me an average of 244ms , which is also really weird. Anyone have some ideas what the problem may be here?
Ow and yes i rebooted my router , even called my provider (belgacom) , and they said they did some tweaking they said to optimize everything. And i have a 3 month old alienware desktop ,which has some really good stuff in there.
