Hello. I'm just prepared to buy new system

Please advice me witch is better choise. 3570k or 4570
Does somobody know how far can the 3570k go with it's own cooler.

1)
I'm between 1155 Intel 3570k (207 euro, 7115 Score at PassMark) and 1150 intel 4570 (183 Euro, 7060 Score at PassMark)

I intend to overclock if i buy the first cpu but i don't intend to buy new heatsink, cooler etc.

I'm thinking that maybe it's not worth it to buy more expensive and older cpu if i won't be able to overclock it with its own Cooler.

2)
Also i have 500W OCZ PSU. Is this powerful enough to use ASUS GTX 760 DirectCU II OC at Maximum Performance (plan to buy).
Till now i found this about Power Consumption :
Asus gtx760 : 300-315 Watt
i5 3570k : 40-112 and some inform 119 - 300 Watt.

A) http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/core_i5_3570k_review,10.html
B) http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cpus/2012/05/01/intel-core-i5-3570k-cpu-review/7

I'm Confused...

You won't be able to go very far with an overclock on stock coolers. You may be able to up the clock by a bit up to whatever the intel boost clock is (basically have it running at boost clock all the time) but that is about it. I definitely would not recommend upping voltage at all, which really hinders any real overclocking ability.

If you are adamant about not getting an aftermarket cooler, I would just go with the 4570.

The 500W PSU is pretty borderline, but as long as your model is a good one and doesn't skimp on the +12V amperage it should be able to handle it, especially if you go with the 4570 since that CPU has pretty low TDP at 84W.

neither 3570k or 4670k will be able to hit average overclocks on stock cooling. the stock cooler is very bad and wasn't designed with overclocking in mind; not only that, both chips run fairly hot, with the 4670k expected to run hotter than the 3570k. the minimum you need is a Hyper 212 EVO while most reviews will say for average to high overclocks you will need a very high end air cooler or closed loop water cooler (the 3570k, depending on your chip itself, may be able to get high overclocks on the Hyper 212 EVO however, the 4670k is a different story).
