I've decided that instead of buying a next gen system Day 1, I'd update my desktop to a gaming rig but I'm unsure if the *long copy-paste* GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-2GD GeForce GTX 770 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card would be compatible with my GA-H67MA-USB3-B3 GIGABYTE motherboard? If not, I'm willing to replace my motherboard. Thank you for your time.

Yes, it is compatible. Mobo is PCI-E 2.0, GPU is PCI-3.0, but you'll be just fine, they're all backwards/forwards compatible, and you'd probably never notice the difference anyway.
