Hello, I need your opinions on this build.

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87M-D3H
CPU: Intel Core i5-4670k Haswell 3.4GHz
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 760 OC 2GB Windforce 3X
Memory: G.skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600
HDD: WD Caviar BLUE WD10EZEX 1TB
PSU: SeaSonic S12II Bronze 520W 80 PLUS
Case: HEC Cougar Evolution 6GR1 Full Tower

Thanks.

P.S. I could not decide between SAPPHIRE HD 7950 Vapor-X 3GB and Gigabyte GeForce GTX 760 OC 2GB Windforce 3X. They are two good cards. Though, with the GTX one I get Physx while with HD I got 1 more GB for future games, if they ever require it. Also, the GTX one is better, according to game-debate (overall performance). I appreciate any feedback on this on this issue.

Get the Sniper series RAM for gaming.

Should try for the new released R9 290X. If you hate AMD GPUs, choose the ASUS GTX760-DC2OC-2GD5.

Consider to buy a higher watt PSU for future upgrades (optional).

Thanks for the feedback. Keep them coming.

kelvin, I read that Ares and Sniper are similar. Care to elaborate please?

I do not want to go way high above my budget. R9 290X is expensive. As for ASUS GTX760-DC2OC-2GD5, I did a comparison on game-debate. I found the version I specified to be better in performance. Are you referring to a fan issue or something?

Snipers have been around longer and are great sticks, they were always my first choice until the Tridents were released last year, Snipers are still my first choice for AMD rigs and #2 on Intel, the Ares are about my number 5, they are more just general purpose sticks and don't have the OC headroom of the Tri's, Snipers or either the Ripjaws X or Z lines

Thanks.
Tradesman1, I am still trying to understand. Sniper series allows OC while Ares does not?

I got two cheap options at the moment:
G.skill Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 CL9 1.5v Dual Channel Memory Kit
G.skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 CL9 1.5v Dual Channel Memory Kit

There is no DRAM that's 'made' for gaming, there's entry level DRAM (i.e. 1600/9,,, high performacne say 1600/7-8 and value type DRAM i.e. 1600/10-11 - GSkill markets the DRAm in different ways, the Snipers towards gaming and general across the board use - the RJ X line was aimed at SB and the 1155, the RJ Z line was aimed at X79 and quad channel, the Tridents are aimed at IB/Haswell and high end rigs, Ares are for GP....I've been doing support at GSkill's forums as an Admin for about 5 years now

That is good to know. I do not understand why they sell for the same price give or take a few dollars. I will pick snipers. With this change, is my build solid? Will I have any issues with any of the components? Thanks a lot, for the feedback.
