Hi, I just built my first desktop and i'm using a gigabyte z87 ud5h with Samsung EVO 250gb ssd on the z87 SATA controller as the OS drive which is detected as drive C but i'm also another 120GB Samsung EVO ssd with a seagate 2TB barracuda hdd on the marvell 88SE9230 chip in Marvell RAID. This raid enabled by marvell's controller isn't detected in my computer but is shown in the device manager as working. I'm running windows 8.1 at the moment.
Why is it that i cannot use the storage devices on marvell's chip? How do it i get it running and detected as the D drive or something? I've been searching Marvell's website and it seems like there isn't any additional firmware updates... and a windows search of updates says that i'm using the latest drivers.... What am i doing wrong?
