will i be fine with next gen gaming on this build?

I want my system to last atleast 2-4 years on high/ultra settings. Atleast match or beat the next Gen consoles.

Here's the system I've built a few months ago.

I5 3570K @ 4.5Ghz
ASUS Sabertooth Z77
G Skill Ripjaws X 8GB
Crossfire 7950
HX850 PSU
WD 2TB HDD
SanDisk 120GB SSD

Ideally I would be extremely happy if this rig lasted me 4 years at 1080p Single monitor. Can't stand multiple monitors. Think I can last another 4years before a whole new system retail?..

Four years is a long time.
Remember the Q6600, the hottest new cpu of 4-5 years ago?
Not so hot now.

If you like single monitors, you will love the upcoming 4k monitors. It will take more than cf 7950 to run them well.

Nothing lasts forever, and 4 years is forever in the computer field. Be prepared for a change when your current rig no longer does the job.

Yeah I understand but I was hoping atleast 2-3 years out of this system. Paying abit over $1k every 2-3 years adds up to a lot over time. I don't mind it but some times I just wonder if switching over to console is smarter.
