Motherboard: MSI Z87-G45
CPU: Intel i5 4670K
CPU Cooler: Coolermaster 212 Hyper Evo
RAM: 2x8GB Crucial Ballistix Sport

Multiplier: 100x44 (4.4GHz)
Core Voltage: 1.184V

First time overclocking here, is this a pretty normal overclock for a 4670k and Coolermaster EVO? Is the system running too hot or are there any changes you'd recommend? Thanks in advance!

i cant say for sure if IBT is a good indicator of stability. id say try out AIDA64's stress test because it's designed around the Haswell architecture with the CPU and System Memory tests checked (passing this for about 45m-1hr would probably put you into the stable zone). to test for absolute stability, you can try testing with only the FPU test checked but, be warned, it will test every single instruction set inside your CPU so be prepared for very high temperatures; an immediate crash/BSOD after the FPU stress test begins is probably a good indicator that your chip isn't stable for 100% CPU loading conditions.

Awesome. I'm going to run the test right now and report back. I added a second fan to the cooler to pull out air that's pushed from the included fan. hopefully it'll help with the testing. :)

awesome but, did you test those separately? so, one stress test instance you would have only CPU and system memory checked and in another instance ONLY the FPU test checked.

having CPU and FPU both checked will not test it like testing it with only the FPU checked. i don't know why but, it seems to behave this way.
