Last minute suggestions for a good build

Hi,

I'm about to get a new PC soon, and I need some suggestions, regarding price to performance. I'm trying to lean this build to be about $1500, but that's just not happening. I'll be using it for gaming (mostly), like playing AAA titles like BF3 and Bioshock Inf. Here's the build:

I'm a bit picky on storage space, but I can deal with 1TB
With your suggestions I'm getting a high $1700/ low $1800. Anything else?
When SteamOS comes for Linux, I can save $100 on an OS

Again. I'm picky for space (and performance in the case for SSD's). I could do that, but I'll have regrets. Anything else?

"Future proof" issues. Yes, it seems like overkill now, but will be a godsend later. I really don't feel like upgrading 2-3 years after getting this. Unless the AMD HD 7990 is a better choice?
