Hi,

I'm new here, so if I post this in a wrong section please flog me.

I have been using my loyal Zotac Geforce 560 GTX Ti 2gb for a few good years now, and it's been a decent card. Then a friend of mine replaced his Asus Geforce 560 GTX Ti OCII, and i bought that from him for a small amount and wanted to team it up with mine using SLI.

I knew nothing about SLI, but i'm a nosy one so i wanted to try.
Now i have read a bit up on it, and understand it's not always a walk in the park.
Here is the deal:

First of all i didnt get any SLI options in Nvidia Control Panel, and understood that was because one card is 2gb and the other is 1gb. However on the Nvidia page it says it is doable using Coolbits, so i did that reg file. Then i got the options to enable SLI.
When i hit "Maximize 3d performance" however things happen. First i get some flickering, which i assume is normal, then i try to launch a game.

Now i have only tried two games, but neither work.
Battlefield 3 will launch, then freeze totally. I have to kill it with task manager.
Dishonored launches, but i wont see anything, just hear sounds.

My system:
Windows 7 64 Bit
Intel Core i7-2600K @ 3,4 GHz
RAM 16GB
Motherboard is MSI Z68A-GD65 (i think...or 55)
Zotac Geforce GTX 560 Ti 2GB
Asus Geforce GTX 560 Ti 1GB DCII
Corsair AX1200i (1200w PSU)

I'm running GeForce 327.23 Driver atm, but i have tried with the GeForce R331 Game Ready Driver as well, with same result.

As far as i can understand that should be enough for requirements for running SLI, but i have no idea where to even start looking now after reading for 2 days.

I have a bunch of kids and a little time to play, so i want those few hours to be quality without wasting more money, so please help me ;)

You should set them on same clock speeds, it doesn't matter if one is 2GB and second 1GB, only 1GB will be used when SLI.
You can use MSI afterburner to set them on same clocks, or my favorite ZOTAC firestorm.
