Would running Windows Media Player while playing Battlefield 3 with my Core i5 3330 @ 3.4 GHZ cost me any FPS while in game?

The title says it all, I'm just wondering if my frame rates would suffer in game if I ran Windows Media Player considering it's only a quad core. I've never used Intel, I've only used AMD 6 cores. So I'm not that knowledgeable when it comes to the Intel side of things.

Thanks guys.

well since im guessing u have the i5, go run a test with and without windows media player running. It should not cause a fps drop and even if it does u prob wont see the difference.

lol, no. your windows aero background would eat up much much more performance than decoding mp3. even cheap $10 mp3 players at biglots can decode mp3
