Sony vaio sve screen problem

The screen of my vaio series E(sve1512h6ew) was broken so I bought a new one. After I installed it and started it I can hardly see anything, the brightness is very low. An external screen works perfectly. I really cant understand what the problem is,maybe because I re-installed win 7 from win 8? Please I need your help.

Maybe you are right, but isnt strange that when I connect the broken screen (only a crack), doesnt show any light either?

I found out that the fuse of the blacklight on the motherboard is blown out. So you can either replace the fuse or make a bridge with soldering. Its a way cheaper way than buying a new motherboard. However I suggest that you first check whether your fuse is blown.
