Please bare with me. I am new to these types of forums, so if I don't give enough info or don't describe my problem as accurately as the rest of you would, please don't shun me.

My specs:
CPU:Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 @ 2.93GHz
RAM: 4.00GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 400MHz (6-6-6-18)
Motherboard:ASUSTeK Computer INC. P5N7A-VM (Socket 775)
Graphics: G218a1 (1680x1050@59Hz) 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT

I am nearly certain that my graphics card is dying on me. I've been attempting to play various games on Steam and can't see a thing. It's never been a problem before.

To be sure that the video card is the issue, I took a screenshot of what the screen is doing, just as a reference.

The fuzziness is a million times worse when I attempt to play any sort of game, but it does do it outside of games as well.

I've been researching online and have read several articles that recommend putting the card in the over for a set amount of time and temp. I have considered this, but I thought I should mention that my PC already tends to run fairly hot. I'm not sure if that makes a difference or not.

I know that graphic cards are not super expensive, but I am unfortunately not in a place where I can afford to purchase a new one just yet. And I'm not sure when I would be able to purchase a new one. So I'm looking for help and advice to at least make it last as long as possible.

Sorry for the novice demeanor of this post. I've never known too much about hardware, but am trying to learn as much as possible.

Please, any help or advice would be AMAZING!

Thank you so very much. :)
