cpu:i3 2100 3.10Ghz
gpu:intel hd graphic
psu:i have a cheap 500w one but im going to buy a new one
motherboard:i have one with pcie 2 x16
ram:8gb in two sticks

these the one i want:
280x:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
770:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
the drivers really doing alot of problems?
the physx i can run i know but it will be on the cpu...

The drivers are young and still maturing , if you want a good card straight off the block then the 770 will be the card for you

However if you are will to wait for a will to let mantle get into its stride then the 280 will be better

Also with the ram concerned you can get the giga card with 4gb for $440

The 280X is far better value right now (especially on those two cards), as there's not a huge difference in performance between them.
PhysX is a fairly gimmicky thing, so I wouldn't place much value in it, unless you desperately want it.

If you really do want a GTX770, wait a little while. Nvidia haven't responded to AMDs latest wave of cards really, and I imagine the prices will start to drop a little.

As stated, drivers might improve, but as a 280X is really just a HD7970 in drag, I doubt it'll change an awful lot. It's not new technology.

im not going to buy it soon, maybe on black friday or middle of december, so i can wait a little, but another thing im afraid about is nvidia new card series, the 800 will be like 700 price? if there will be 800 soon... i dont want to stay behind, i never had a great card so i want one to hold a couple of years, one or two years ultra and the rest medium...
i think ill go with the r9 280x for now until nvidia show off her new series if it happens soon.
the 280x a little stronger in performance than the 770 right? i mean like 5-10% not more
and thank you very much :D

running ultra for 2 years with every game is unlikely with games pushing the limit all the time , the 280x will be the better choice for now

okay ill go with the 280x, i see it has 200mhz less core speed and some more things that are lower, its going to affect my performance or something?
and another thing what psu should i get? i was getting crosair 650w for the 770, but the 280x consume more power, the 650w going to be enough? and what connector's the 280x use?
thank you very much guys!

most will need an 8pin and 6pin , certain companies like the sapphire toxic will need 2x8pin

the 650watt will be enough , make sure it has a good efficiency but it will be fine as the 280x has roughly 250watt tdp

Every new batch of cards have slight driver issues , now they have finally released the 290x you will see a massive workload on the drivers thus making the R9 series more efficient. I have not heard of any disastrous drivers only slight issues which will be ironed out very soon

Yes and the prices might have slightly decreased by then as the custom 290x will be released thus slightly lowing the price of the 280x

so in your scenario is a win, win

Yes they do on selected graphic cards and pc stuff. It's really varies though on what they are going to discount.

Get the GTX 770, NVIDIA is going to price cut their GTX 770 to 329$ while GTX 780 to 499$. Considering the cooling system of AMD and their software. I'll say GTX 770.
