MY HDD IS HITACHI 320GB 7200RPM SATA 3
THE ONE THAT I WANT TO BUY IS SEAGATE BARRACUDA ST1000 1TB 7200RPM SATA 3
PLEASE I NEED MORE THAN ONE OPINION
PLEASE HELP ME ??????????????????

If you buy a 240gb ssd, you may well be able to clone your current hard drive to the ssd without doing a windows reinstall.
Then repurpose your hard drive for storage and backups.
