That is a very good board for the price, the only other two i can think of are the following:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gigabyte-970A-DS3P-Motherboard-Socket-Express/dp/B00CX4MUCC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1382885378&sr=8-1&keywords=Gigabyte+GA-970A-DS3P

http://www.amazon.co.uk/MSI-970A-G43-Motherboard-PCI-E-Socket/dp/B00AQ9CF8K/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1382885335&sr=1-1&keywords=MSI+970A-G43

Personally I'm using the Asus M5A97 R2.0 and find it to be a solid board. I'm using the FX-6300 with a Radeon R9 270 with good results. You can also update the BIOS using just standby power and a flash drive which is nice.

Yeah, i'm using the M5A97 in my current rig. So decided to pick up a M5A99FX Pro for my normal pc, then move the M5A97 R2.0 over to the 2nd pc that i was having issues with. ;)
