I am currently waiting for the parts for my first build to be delivered. I have ordered an fx 6300 and a vtx3d 7870 tahiti le.
I don't plan to oc right away as I haven't bought an aftermarket cooler however it is something I would like the option to be able to do in the future. I'm not really looking to push things to the limit either, because I still want things to be at sensible temperatures like 50-55c for the cpu and below 70c for the gpu (I'm a noob btw, but from the research I've done these seem to be the sort of safe temps to aim for).
So I am wondering if this motherboard would be good enough for a reasonable overclock to around 4.2 ghz on the cpu and possibly 1075-1150 mhz on the gpu?
