Battlefield 3 installation problems

Hello

I has just bought a brand new copy of Battlefield 3 for the PC and am having a problem with installation.

However when I click install it brings up a error which says:

Error opening file for writing:

C:\Users\Rich\AppData\Local\Temp\WindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86.exe

Does anybody have any idea how I fix the error?

Is this just for Battlefield 3 or Origin too?

Did you reinstall Origin? Did you try to download Origin from their website?

Check your Anti virus & Firewall settings (even go as far as disabling it just for the install)

Here are a few other things you can do if you already tried the above mentioned:

Start- Run - msiexec.exe /regserver

Download : https://download.dm.origin.com/origin/beta/OriginUpdate_9_1_13_89.zip

Unzip the files into Origin folder
