I have an HD 7950, which uses a pcie 3.0 slot. But my mobo has pcie 2.0. Will it work and how will the performance be affected?

It will work, and you will loose ~2-7 fps if the slot is x4.


If the 2.0 slot is 8x or better, the loss in performance is not noticeable.
