Okay thanks btw is it easy to crossfire? Do I just insert the other card and connect it to the psu?

Yes, it's easy to crossfire. You also need to buy a crossfire strip to connect the two cards together.

Is there any cons about crossfire? I've heard games run like sh*t when you crossfire ):

Some games don't support crossfire - However, more and more games are beginning to support it so there shouldn't be a problem (drivers are getting better as well).

The card is releasing on the 31st so we should have better figures then(including price).

From general knowledge I would say titles like bf4 cod ghosts and gta v would support crossfire? Seeing as thousands bought the game and have crossfire? Idk if I explained that right or not lol.

Then again I saw a video on YouTube about the 780 Ti so I'll just have to wait anyway I'm not building this to January anyway :)

That should be fine then because older games would only need one 280x to max it out seeing as there old lol. But I'll. Just have to wait and see till january

The 280x is essentially a slightly-higher clocked 7970 (literally the same GPU) with faster memory. It's also about $50 cheaper than the 7970.

The 290x has 4GB of GDDR5 but is nearly twice the price of the 280x.

The 770 won't beat a 280/7970 but still costs $100 more than a 280x.

The chart above compares the 290x to the gtx780. These cards are also about $100 difference.

The 290x/7970 will run modern games in ultra 99% of the time. It would be overkill to spend $100 now for no noticeable performance gains.

Would the "faster" cards benchmark better? Probably. Will you see it for 6-12mos? No.
