Restoring C drive and some games data from Backup drive

I did back up, using Seagate software Dashboard 2.0. I reinstalled OS. It did backup of C drive, D drive and itself (strangely enough, because it was connected- it copied itself in to itself many times in the loop). The Dashboard software has "Restore files" option. I do not need to restore D drive as it was disconnected during OS installation and all folders are preserved. I could use C drive restore. I can try to do it manually and copy all folders on it to the C drive. Ort- I can reinstall Dashboard 2.0 (it is not installed after OS update) and use "Restore files" but afraid- it will try to restore D drive and make a mass. Also on C drive, there were elements and shortcuts from games. I was installing games on D, but it always installs something on C. I am finding 3 games files. Should I reinstall the games clean? (They are actually on D, but shortcuts were on C and there some hardware configuration files and checkpoints info). Do I copy it manually and see if the game works, or how do I handle it? Thank you.
