Both of the cards are 2gb, the only difference is that the xfx is about 3 pounds more and the gigabyte one is far uglier. However, it does have two fans, unlike the xfx, which only has 1 fan. Does it affect the temps and the overclocking ability much? Thanks

Gigabyte cards pretty much always outperform XFX cards on sonic and thermal performance. Unless looks are very important for you, I'd get the Gigabyte card. They're currently one of the best value vendors in terms of noise/temps/price.
