Hello experts.. I just brought a new rig 3 days back with following specs
Amd fx-6300(processor)
Gigabyte 78lmt-usb3(motherboard)
4gb ddr3 ram
1tb HDd
Nvidia xfx gt 610 2gb ddr3 graphics card
I know I got hold of a pretty shitty and old graphics card, but I was on a really tight budget. Anyways my question is.. can I play games like bf3/4,crisis3, metro last light,GTA 4,saints row4 on a pretty good settings? My monitor is pretty old too.. soo I will be playing it on a resolution of 1024*768.. please suggest me some tweaks if possible(software).. or a better improvement for future..(software+hardware)
Thanks :)

No. Games will either be playable at lowest settings with everything turned down or not at all. That and the radeon 5450/7450 are probably the worst GPUs available for gaming. Sorry! The only improvement I can give you is to buy a new GPU.

It is a good GPU. As you can see from my sig, I currently have one. That is a good price if it is almost new. You will need a good PSU of at least 430-450W.

BTW,I downloaded saints row 3,I've and I'm pretty happy that my GPU can run that game under high-medium settings :) is there any way to over clock this GPU so that I can get better fps in ultra settings? I downloaded the nvidia graphics over clocking software from the home site.. although I don't know how to use it..

Can you please throw some light on it.. as I don't have any idea how to do it.. I expect a link which has a tutorial on how to do it.. :) thanks in advance..
Can turning my 6300 to 6350 increase my capability to run games on better fps?

It should help a bit more on FPS. Your motherboard manual will specify where the CPU ratio setting is at in your bios. Bump it from 17.5 to 19.5 and you have FX 6350 clock speed. Just remember to keep eye on those temps. You really don't want to go over 60-62c. If it gets too hot, back it down to 17.5 again and wait till you can afford to get a decent aftermarket cooler.
