I have recently overclocked my 3570k to 4.3ghz using software such as Intel XTU.
My mobo is z77x-ud5h wb wifi.

Whenever I overclock, it does not show in the bios but in cpuz it does.
When I change settings in the bios for cpu overclocking it won't update but it will use the software's overclock.

How can I get it to use the BIOS overclock instead of the software?

I have tried resetting the clocks and removing the software. I also did a fresh windows install.

Have you tried clearing the CMOS and "Reset to Optimized Defaults"?

I have already reset the cmos before. I think it has to do with the storage on the hardware/drivers. I am trying to remove the software overclock.

If you have cleared the CMOS and performed a fresh install of Windows, that should've eliminated all traces of the IXTU software.
