I am going to get a new PC soon and I want to migrate my drive. What drivers would I have to uninstall and how would I do so to get it to work? Everything is new Mobo, RAM, CPU, Video Card. etc.

The video card will stay nVidia though so would that be the same?

How would I reinstall/uninstall BIOS drivers?

I don't know what you mean by migrating. You said you building new computer- if you move your hard drive in to the new computer without reinstalling OS, it may not work as OS is bound to the motherboard. Some may disagree, but in my experience it asked for another key. You will need LAN, Chipset, VGA, Bluetooth, video card, some utilities. That's all. Depending on your hardware you will get drivers from the manufacturers or from motherboard manufacturer.

Are you building computer or buying retail brand? You would not need to reinstall BIOS unless you want to update them to latest. The instruction is in motherboard manual. If it is retail computer- make sure you have good list of your parts to look up drivers on manufacturer web sites.

Building. My new build is in my profile and my old one is an HP computer which I have no idea of the parts of.

Sorry I meant my profile. I am not reinstalling my OS. The whole point of this thread is that I am migrating to a new computer. Which drivers would I have to uninstall?
