I'm getting a new PC with an i5-4670k which has the HD4600 GPU

I already have a 9500 GT, should I even bother installing it or is the HD4600 faster anyway?

By the way, the system will have 8GB 1600mhz RAM

Note: I'll be getting a proper gfx card in a few months.

Solution
The 9500 GT (DDR2) is on a par with the older Intel 4000 graphics, so the new 4600 will be quicker. The DDR3 version of 9500GT was only slightly quicker than Intel 4000.

Plus, don't forget the $$ savings over the life of your computer in reduced energy costs from not having an extra card and the massive decrease in noise that comes from not having to cool the card!!!

I just rebuilt a computer that had that card (or was it a 9600?) and am using the 4570S. The noise difference is phenomenal. My machine went from being a good alternative to a wind tunnel to something that I have to actually LOOK at if I want to know whether it's on--that's how quiet it is.
