Yes this is a brilliant choice for the entry level gamer and has been recommended as the best card for under $110 this month (October) on Tom's Hardware and it should have no compatibility problems with your processor.

Yes, it is. Processors do not determine compatibility with GPUs; your motherboard does. However, I can't think of a single commercialized motherboard available nowadays that isn't compatible with every GPU, since every modern motherboard has a PCIe slot, and all PCIe slots are backwards and forwards compatible with one another anyway.
