I have wanted to build a new computer for a long time, and last year I decided that I was going to build a new computer around Thanksgiving 2013. However, when the PS4 was announced I changed my mind and decided I would spend my money on a PS4, primarily to play "Watch Dogs." You may know that "Watch Dogs" has been set back until Q2 of 2013 thereby setting back the release date until after April 1st, 2013. This fallback canceled my Watch Dogs/PS4 pre-order. All said, I have decided that I do not want a PS4 anymore and would much rather build a gaming PC.

This is the build that I have made as of today, October 27th, 2013:

Please leave your feedback on whether or not this build is good enough to play the games I mentioned in the title, "BF4", "AC: Black Flag" and "Watch Dogs" on high/ultra settings. I realize that these games are not released yet, but I would still like to get some opinions. Also, please feel free to tell me if I should change any of my parts for my build and/or get other parts for my build. I'm trying to stay under a $1000 budget, but I could go a little over.

Thank you!

This makes a lot more sense.
Also allows you to add a Hyper 212 EVO that will allow your I5 to run at a higher clock more often.
This build also has cheaper RAM and a MUCH better PSU.

Are you planning to overclock?

You are getting a more expensive K-edition CPU that can be overclocked but your motherboard will not allow it.

Why are you going for Ivy bridge instead of the newer and slightly improved Haswell.

I would not suggest you use a CX500 PSU as it will struggle to power a 280X, that PSU was not meant for high end cards.
