We are not allowed to help break or go around passwords as we can not verify the system is yours.

Also, it's hard to understand how someone can forgot their password.
  2. No it is not, It was a computer I bought for my 13 year grandson, and I tried to put one on it that he would not figure out what it was,,,,, Well I did it 2 years ago now I HAVE FORGOT IT.

Maybe THEY'RE having problems with THEIR password over THERE. Sorry, could resist :)

But what CDdude55 said is correct. It is against TH rules to help break password. Call computer manufacturer for help. Be ready to show proof of ownership.

Hey. You don't need to restore your Windows 7 computer to factory settings. There is an easy way to reset the lost administrator password. It's Windows Password Key. Please follow the steps below to use it:
    1. Download, install and run Windows Password Key on an accessible computer.
The download page is here: http://tinyurl.com/ckmyrac
    2. Burn a Windows 7 password CD/USB flash drive to create a password reset disk.

    3. Boot your locked PC from the newly created disk to remove your password from Windows 7 and restart your computer.

hi, will it work for windows 8 too?
