Alright guys i have posted atleast two custom builds before, this is the final one. I will not upgrade any parts as i will be spending more than my original budget. So tell me what you think and how well it will perform with next gen and current gen gaming at 1280x1024 resolution. I specifically want to know what FPS it can run current gen games on high-Ultra, games such as: Battlefield 4. Crysis 3, Far Cry 3. Metro Last Light and other demanding games.

Specs:

CPU: AMD FX6300 Black Edition 6 Core
GPU: MSI AMD HD7850 1GB DDR5 PCI-E Graphics Card

PSU: Corsair Builder Series CX 500 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze
HD: Western Digital 1TB internal Hard Drive - Caviar Blue (3.5 inch)
OD: LiteOn IHAS124-04 24x SATA Half Height Internal DVDRW Drive - Black

not bad...i bump up the ps to 650w to be safe. look at the 7870xt and the 7950 gpu there running not much more in price right now on parts picker.

Don't get to carried away. No AMD card runs Metro Last Light well, and as a matter of fact, it might do you good to bump that 1gb to a 2gb, it'd give you an extra frame or two.

As i said i have already gone over my original budget so i have no money for new parts, 7870 and 7950 are around £150--£170 which is way to much considering i'm paying £110 for the 7850. Also i heard that the 500w PSU should suffice for this build?

when i said 60+ FPS On all games i didn't mean demanding games like Metro Last Light as the game is considered a next gen title. sorry should have made it more clear. Also spending extra £10-20 just for a 2gb version which increases 1 or 2 FPS isn't really worth it. I Rather upgrade my graphics card down the line when games start utilizing extra memory like 2GB OR 3GB with a better graphics card.

the cosair is a nice power supply. with any power supply take the max wattage of the cpu and gpu and look at the 12v line on the power supply. make sure you have 100w more then is needed. it give you over head when the power supply ages. if you cut the voltage to were it 80 percent or more of the rated 12v line under stress the power supply can ripple out or just turn off.
