Hey guys fairly soon i will be building a PC and i really would like to know if it will be able to run games on ultra with a 1080p monitor. (Games like BF4, Crysis 3, etc.)
Here is my parts list...
CPU: Intel i5 4670k
Motherboard: MSI Z87-G45
GPU: Asus Matrix R9 280X
PSU: Cooler Master Silent Pro M2 620W
SSD: Samsung 840 Pro Series 128GB
RAM: G-Skill Sniper 8GB DDR3 1600 Ram
HDD: 2GB 7200RPM Seagate Barracuda
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper N520

Yes. The i5 and the R9 280x are both powerful components, more than adequate for 1080p gaming.

That being said, you might need to turn down the AA slightly on Crysis 3, but BF4 should run on Ultra settings easily.
