I have 2 monitors, and my grapic card is PowerColor HD 7870

So my problem is that the bottom dvi slot in the grapic card does not detect any monitor. I have tried switching monitors around and different cables, but only the monitor witch is blugged to the upper dvi slots works. I have 2 DVI-I adabters, 1 DVI cable ( both ends are DVI-I ) And 1 DVI to VGA adabter but i cant get it to work. Please help.
