CSGO Lag Spikes

I'm getting constant minor lag spikes in csgo but i don't get them in other source games.
Running the game at lowest with multicore rendering off, and my average fps is around 55.
Specs:
I5 3210m 2.5ghz (3.1 boost)
Hd4000 graphics.

Is it my cpu causing the spikes or my gpu

I would say then that your iGPU is probably holding you back on CS:GO. I know it demands a bit more than CSS and others like it. I'd also make sure you have a good internet connection too.

Hard to say for sure, but integrated graphics from Intel are usually the reason. Intel has been getting the graphics parts better, so not 100% sure it's your iGPU. Your CPU should be plenty for that game. What are the rest of your specs?
