We changed his ram the other day from a 4g SpecTek 1333hz(1x4) stick to 8g of PNY 1333hz(2x4. We had to remove the heat-sink in order to put the ram in. Put everything back to normal and now he experience odd tears no matter what. Gaming, web browsing, start menu and everything else. Its not all of the time, but mostly when he goes to open a game it starts to happen, but then randomly after all of that.
Did we need to change something with the ram in the bios? or what could it be?
