Hey guys, I was hoping someone would give this build a check. I don't want to buy everything and
then find that something doesn't fit. So my brother and I have put a lot of money together to get beast of a computer and since I volunteered to put the build together, I need your guys advice.

Here is the info:
Use: Gaming, but I am going to be sharing this with my brother and he needs video rendering.
When is it going to be built: March - April
Probably not going to overclock
Absolute Maximum Price: $3500
Mostly for first-person shooters and MMO/RPGs
Experience: Zero outside of various tech articles

This is probably obvious, but please focus on the bold stuff.
And... The build!

CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor (For the video rendering)
CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X60 98.3 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler: (I really need help on this, I can't choose on the cooler. I CAN get my hands on the Swiftech H220, so that's another option)
Thermal Compound: Arctic Silver Arctic Alumina Premium Ceramic Polysynthetic 1.75g Thermal Paste
Motherboard: Asus SABERTOOTH Z87 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" Solid State Disk: (We probably don't need this much SSD storage, but whatever. :) )
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Black 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (Same as SSD)
Video Card: MSI Radeon R9 290X 4GB Video Card: (Planning to crossfire later, also want the Never Settle Bundle, so I am reluctant to switch this out.)
Case: NZXT Phantom 820 (Black) ATX Full Tower Case (Will everything fit in this baby?)
Case Fan: Xigmatek XAF-F1451 90.3 CFM 140mm Fan
Case Fan: Xigmatek XAF-F1451 90.3 CFM 140mm Fan
Case Fan: Xigmatek XAF-F1451 90.3 CFM 140mm Fan
Case Fan: Xigmatek XAF-F1451 90.3 CFM 140mm Fan
Case Fan: BitFenix BFF-LPRO-20025B-RP 148.7 CFM 200mm Fan
Case Fan: BitFenix BFF-LPRO-20025B-RP 148.7 CFM 200mm Fan

Power Supply: Corsair 1200W 80 PLUS Platinum Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply (My dad is paying for the PSU, so I got the best one possible :D)
Optical Drive: LG BH16NS40 Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Writer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8 (OEM) (64-bit)
Monitor: BenQ XL2420TE 144Hz 24.0" Monitor (This or the XL2720T, help choose, please?)
Keyboard: Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Battlefield 3 Edition Wired Gaming Keyboard (BATTLEFIELD!)
Mouse: Razer Razer Naga 2014 Wired Laser Mouse (Lots of buttons for MMO/RPG!)
Speakers: Logitech Z506 155W 5.1ch Speakers
Headphones: Logitech G930 7.1 Channel Headset

My bro and I also want some lighting so we are going to be adding these.
Other: NZXT LED 2 Meter Blue (Do I just plug these into the PSU with molex, or do I need solder?)
Other: Logisys Dual 12" Cathodes Blue (Right into the PSU with adapters, right?)

We don't want to mod the case or anything, so will the Phantom be big enough?
I also need a really good fan controller under $75 that will be able to work with my case fans.
Again, everyone please keep in mind that this my first build, same with my brother.

Thanks to everyone that answers!
BTW, all you guys are awesome!!!

Solution
Ok, so a quick change to the RAM, get a 2x8GB set not 4x4GB because there is no difference in performance but you could get more RAM later to have 32GB. Everything will fit in that case fine. Go with the 24" if you want to play FPS games because it is less head moving and that means you will be able to see more looking straight at the screen. You don't need to solder the LED. And the cold cathodes plug right into the PSU. And I am using the Sentry 2 from NZXT for my fan controller and I love it, and it will work fine with your fans and it has 6 channels for the 6 case fans you will be using.

I know, but I heard that the Phantom 820 has really loud fans, and I am really sensitive to sound while gaming so..., but thanks for the opinion, I'll change the ram immediately

Thanks for the answer, I was worried about the LEDs and Cathodes, so I can stop being worried about those. I'll take all of your recommandations. I can't thank you enough, I was worried about messing up somewhere :wahoo:
